Loch fad is seeing some great catches from the south end of the Loch from boats for some visiting anglers, Mark Dobson‘s visit over last weekend saw the lads catch 35 good quality Rainbows on floating lines and mostly dry flies.
Also from the south end the Cassidy day out yesterday saw the lads catch around the same area on floating lines and yellow dry flies.With 14 in the boat as well as the same lost.
A Recent visit from the Dumbarton lads for the Michael Neil memorial saw the boys catch a few and have a good day out on the island, Thanks lads.
Loch Quien is still producing brown trout for local and visiting anglers with fish recorded up to 23 inches in length on an Ally Mcoist.
Pike Angling a bit slow at the moment but some anglers managing to catch fish up to 23lbs
Water Quality is good at the Loch to date.
