Eventful day at the Loch for visiting anglers and clubs. There have been some good returns from the bank and the boats. Whitegate lads had 14 at the first fence, the park tavern lads had 9 on bait at the first jetty, William Smith had 7 at the boathouse bay, Bam construction lads had a chill day on the boats with some catching rainbows and some lads exploring Loch Fad and the local bars in town. Local angler Stewart Reynolds had 2 rainbows from the jetty within 10 mins using a small copper Mepps, Rainbows are very active and are feeding on mayfly and buzzers from the surface at both ends of the Loch.
Water quality is clear at the Loch and was stocked on Saturday morning.
