The Jim Smith memorial took place today at Loch fad and was won by his grandson Conlan age 5, with a nice rainbow close to 6lbs, caught at the first fence with a little help from a very proud dad John. The fish was caught early in the day so the wee fellow had to wait till 4pm weigh in to claim the first prize, A great day once again for the lads who support John and his family on this annual outing.
Also a big thanks must go to John who has run the whole event for many years now as well as coming to Loch fad and the Isle of Bute.
Have a good overnight stay and safe journey home lads….Jimmy
